 Paul Unger, Esq.

Paul is an attorney and one of the founding partners of Affinity Consulting Group. Paul focuses on national speaking/training, coaching, strategic consulting, and workflow design. He provides continuing legal education (CLE), legal-specific software training, and professional development programs for law firms and legal departments throughout North America. He is the author of dozens of publications & legal technology manuals, including recently published books, Tame the Digital Chaos: A Lawyer’s Guide to Distraction, Time, Task & Email Management (2020), Getting Your Digital House in Order (2023), PowerPoint for Legal Professionals (2023), and Adobe Acrobat for Legal Professionals (2020). He served as chair of the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center (2012-13, 2013-14), chair of ABA TECHSHOW (2011), and on the Executive Board for the Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) (2017-18, 2018-19). Paul specializes in time, task & distraction management, document and email management, paperless office strategies, courtroom technology, and legal-specific software training for law firms and legal departments. In his spare time, he likes to run, swim, cook, garden, and restore old homes.

 

 Julie Brown

Julie is the Director of Practice Technology at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP where she has served for more than 20 years.  In her current role she works closely with attorneys and clients to identify and deliver innovative solutions.  Her primary areas of focus include eDiscovery, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and automation.  Julie started her career in 1987 as a paralegal in a small firm.  Prior to Vorys she worked for 10 years in a Fortune 500 corporate law department as an Operations Leader.  These combined experiences provide a unique perspective on the business of law and the correlation of technology.  Julie serves on the board of directors for the International Legal Technology Association, and is on the Association of Certified eDiscovey Specialists international advisory board.

 

 Sean Carroll

Sean Carroll joined Fluent as the CEO in December 2023.  He is a current board chair and the former CEO of Arcadia Solutions, a leading healthcare data and analytics company. He has a track record of transforming strong service businesses toward a successful data-centric, technology-enabled profile. Sean's other career highlights include working as Senior Vice President of Healthcare at Nuance Communications, where he helped perpetuate a dominant market share position with advanced voice recognition and natural language processing technology solutions to health plans, health systems and provider groups.

 

  Cindi Lynch

Cindi Lynch, Stenograph’s Training Program Manager has trained thousands of reporting industry professionals and students on a variety of CAT and other software applications for the past 33 years. Cindi created and now maintains the Ascend Training by Stenograph online training community, as well as the content on CATalyst Academy; she manages Stenograph's Certified Independent Training Agent Program, and she is the author of the Self-Study Guides and Exceptional Extras files and documents included with Case CATalyst.
